SoCal is home to some very interesting gastronomy and thin is in. With many
vegan and macrobiotic restaurants, it's every model's dream. But, there are
still a lot of us not-so-weight-conscious foodies out there, and there are all
kinds of culinary goodies at your fingertips, from Famous Nathan's hot dogs to
the uber-chic L'Orangerie.
Los Angeles is also the unofficial home of people watching -- it's the perfect
place to glimpse those folks that are famous for, well, being famous. A visit
to Spago or The Palm should do the trick. If you don't see any luminaries
there, hop over to Rodeo Drive and browse the exclusive shops or visit the
fashionable Beverly Hills Hotel. And if that doesn't work you can even book a
tour of celebrity homes.
