Great deals in Washington, D.C.
The history of the United States may not have the pedigree of many of the European countries, but it's times past are no less glorious. Many of the most impactful decisions on the modern world were made right here and you can visit the sites of them all, from the Houses of Congress to the White House to the U.S. Supreme Court.
But it's not all pundits and politics in the Capital City. A quick outing to Georgetown shows another side to DC. Located on the mighty Potomac River, this bustling shopping district and home to Georgetown University offers plenty of things to see and do. And for nightlife, check out the Adams-Morgan district where you'll find clubs and music venues galore.
There are memorials aplenty in D.C., paying tribute to the many who helped form this world power house, from the Lincoln Memorial to the Washington Monument, as well as a tribute to our fallen Vietnam soldiers. One visit, and you just can't help but feel truly inspired.
